  • All students are required to continue with English Language and Maths until at least a GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) has been achieved
  • There are specific entry requirements for certain courses, e.g. English, Maths or a Science at AS or A level require GCSE at grade C or above
  • For those courses that do not require a GCSE pass at grade C or above, you must be able to provide a record of your attendance, punctuality and commitment to study, and have an aptitude for the kind of course you wish to follow.

 

If you want to study

The minimum qualifications you will need are

• 5 AS level subjects or the equivalent

8 or more GCSEs at grade A*– B in at least 5 different subjects including English

Language and Maths.

• 4 AS level subjects or the equivalent

6 or more GCSEs at grade A*– C in at least 4 different subjects including English

Language and Maths. With a minimum of 2 subjects at grade B

• 3 AS level subjects or the equivalent

5 or more GCSEs at grade A*– C in at least 4 different subjects including English

Language and where specified Maths.

• Level 3 BTEC Diploma

• Subsidiary Diploma

• Vocational Double Award + 1 AS level
