Gateway hit the top again
Gateway College have become the first team to retain the Leicestershire Schools' FA Sixth Form Colleges' League.
They finished two point clear of WQEI College, with Regent College third and Welbeck DSFC fourth.
The team's success was largely down to the ever-present back four of Chris Pereira, Parmveer Mondair, Lewis Mistry and Nathaniel Bullock.
They were helped by some excellent individual displays from Kahil Mann-Kler, Ismael Dawood, Kalaka Matundu and Smajo Alihodzic.
This caps an outstanding two years at Gateway for Mann-Kler, Mondair, Pereira, Mistry and Hoshang Ibrahim, who were part of last season's double success.
