Exam Results for Level 3 examinations in Summer 2021

  • The overall pass rates remain a high at 97%
  • Level 3 Diplomas and Extended Diplomas pass rates are 96%
  • A Level pass rates are 97%
  • 47% of A Level students achieved an A*, A or B grade
  • 58% of level 3 vocational students achieved a Distinction or Distinction*, the equivalent of A or A* in A Level

Exam Results for GCSE Re-Sits

  • English GCSE, 70% moved from grade 3 to 4 or above ranked 20th of all AoC Colleges (236)
  • Maths GCSE, 78% moved from a grade 3 to a grade 4 or above ranked 14th of all AoC Sixth Form Colleges (236)

  • The numbers of students progressing to HE has increased by 3% with 82% of Level 3 learners choosing HE for their next steps. 95% of learners who applied to HE secured a place in September 2021

Gateway Sixth Form College has been awarded an Artsmark Silver Award, accredited by Arts Council England.

The college also holds a Gold Mental Health Award from the Carnegie Centre of Excellence and Leeds Beckett University.
